Student Competition Guidelines
Oral Presentations

-
Participants in the oral presentation competition must submit an abstract by April 30th, 5:00pm.
-
Each presenter will have 15 minutes, including time for questions, so presentations should be timed for approximately 10-12 minutes.
Slide sets must be submitted by May 10th, so that they may be loaded and linked within the meeting platform.
Poster Presentations

-
In addition to the poster, each presenter must submit a 3-min (maximum) video advertising your work. These "abstract" videos will be played at the opening of the sessions, and will be available to attendees throughout and after the meeting.
-
Your video should cover the same highlights that you would include in an abstract, but you have greater flexibility to capture the interest of your audience.
-
Videos will be judged based on coverage of the basic abstract elements, clarity, and proficiency with the medium (how well you take advantage of the video medium to tell your story).

Videos and posters must be submitted by May 5th, 5:00pm, so that they may be loaded and linked within the meeting platform.
